Research done by Google as part of project Aristotle suggested that psychological safety was the biggest factor in making a team great and increasing its overall productivity. However, testers across matrix styled organizations (including Red Hat) find themselves in a position where they are ‘assigned’ to a team versus being a ‘part’ of the team. When ‘information’ is the currency testers deal with, it becomes important that they can speak freely without any risk.
